Current Colombo formation - 01/20/14 11:20 AM

What's the current administration/crew leaders out on the streets since 2011 obviously Carmine's the boss who's running what crews where? Do they only operate in Brooklyn and Long Island?

P.S: The line of Soldiers is optional

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/24/14 10:44 PM

Maybe I need to elaborate
here's my spec on the administration

Estimated membership: 90-110 (possibly untrue)

Boss-Carmine Persicio

Acting/Street Boss-Andrew Russo (According to some sources)

Underboss-Johnny Franzese

Acting Underboss-Dominic "Donnie Shacks" Montemarano

Consigliere-Thomas Farese (Some people say he's retired)

Capos
-Dennis DeLucia
-Ben Castellazo (IP), this guys broke from what I hear
-Joseph Baudanza
-Luca DiMatteo
-Michael Uvino
-Michael Catapano
-Teddy Persicio Jr
-Ralph Lombardo

Note: Andy Russo may well be Acting Boss but may have retired depends 78 seems like the age to retire but a lot of guys still go on even past that I mean look at John Franzese

So would you say the Colombo's are fucked or can they make a comeback by starting up crews in the other borough's other than South Brooklyn and Long Island, I know it's risky but no risk without the reward, correct this chart if it's wrong but a source is listed below also who's getting out that can fill the ranks soon?

Is it possible that Teddy Persico sr is either now part of the admin or has took over his sons crew? I'd also say that the Colombos have been on a roll lately with avoiding jail or at least heavy sentences. I don't think Andy Russo is retired, but if he has i wouldn't be surprised to find out that his son Billy is one of the main guys since he's a Persico relative.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/24/14 11:07 PM

im not so sure about andy russo not being acting boss any more, seeing he was the one that made donnie shacks acting UB while he was in prison. and remember this is the guy that was quoted vowing to bring the colombo family back to prominence.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/24/14 11:14 PM

Shouldn't Franzese retire so they can place someone else in leadership?
It's getting to that point now where he'll either die in prison or get out and be too old to get up from bed

I also disagree about Billy being Boss I was just listed some suspicion to get peoples reviews on it, I dunno how old Billy is but I doubt older Colombo guys will follow his leadership

Also I bet they can discreetly get some guys to start rackets up in Queens, Bronx, Staten Island (Recruitment base) then squeeze a crew into Jersey, Bonanno's have got an estimated head count of Capo's ranging to 16 (I know Wikipedia's a bad source but my bad if I'm wrong)

Andy Russo will retire when he's in a box. He's in the same mold of Carmine Persico, he'll retire when he's dead.

I think Billy Russo is in his early 50s or late 40s, i'm not postive though.

I have a 5$ bet with immamobguy that Franzese will die in prison lol . I wonder what sort of role Castellazo will play since he was acting boss at one point.

Reckon guys like Capaldo, Favuzza, Marino or Sessa be the Capos of these new crews or are some guys realising how lucky they are they didn't get life or are some guys dumb asses

They have the young age and have proved they will serve time and not rat

Yeah carmine sessa ratted and he was consigliere during the last colombo war, carmine did have a nephew named larry which could be short for ilario, but im not sure if its the same guy.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/25/14 10:11 PM

Larry sessa was in the news , he's was inducted into the colombos by Andrew Russo in Brooklyn federal lockup

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/25/14 10:29 PM

^^ ya i know, im just saying im not sure if the larry sessa that was made in jail is related to carmine, he probably is seeing that carmine had a nephew named larry but im not sure.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/25/14 10:37 PM

Sonny will retire when he's in a box. That doesn't stop someone from acting in a UB even after Sonny's out. Using older guys as a front to take the heat is a proud mob tradition.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/25/14 10:38 PM

I was just pointing it out since they usually don't let guys who've relatives have ratted become made or is it only if your related to a cop

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 06:24 AM

I think billy Russo is only a captain now
Posted By: Philip_Lombardo

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 03:05 PM

Reckon billy could be potential future boss?

Although son succeeding father or uncle for that matter is never always good *Cough* Gotti Jr *Cough*

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 03:40 PM

Skinny,

That is what I heard last as well Billy Russo is a captain.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 04:23 PM

He was doing all the leg work for his father. Idk if that qualifies as a position, but I'd consider him administration when his father was in prison. Perhaps he still is, I'm just sharing what I know. As far as his father being on supervised release, 99% of these guys don't follow that, and at least half of them get violated.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 04:27 PM

Is his father on supervised release? i thought he got sentenced to time served and he walked out free?
Posted By: Skinny

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 04:29 PM

Thought he was still on it from a previous sentence no? Not sure now lol

Re: Current Colombo formation - 01/26/14 07:10 PM

basically he was sentenced to 33 months in prison but had already served that in custody with no bail and the judge just decided to let him off with another 3 months, that's what I think anyway

Hope this guy rebuilds the Colombo's, even if he remains Street Boss he will quite possibly make Carmine look a Front Boss being Cousin's and all, but what's Carmine got to loose if he gives up a lot of control to Andrew?

It's only going to get worse for the Colombo's. There making shit loads of guys but I bet there's plenty of soldiers wearing wires. There going for quantity over quality, which will never work.

I can tell you one thing ,that Ren almost let some shit that the general public has never known about the top 10 of that family.

He was around when the boys were kids, not just around i mean at blood family functions, in the city and up state.

Re: Current Colombo formation - 03/14/14 05:50 AM

From what I've been told billy helps run the day to day of the family but ultimately they answer to allie and andy (billys dad).
I don't know the exact position of billy, doubt he has set administrative position but heard he helps run the show.. Is it just cause of his father? Maybe? I don't know

Re: Current Colombo formation - 03/14/14 07:07 AM

Was I right earlier on by saying the Colombos only operate in South Brooklyn/Long Island or do they still have influence in the other Borough's?
