Once when I was walking around Ozone Park I saw two guys wearing "TEAM GAMBINO" track suits. Some other guys wearing "TEAM COLOMBO" track sutis came down from the other side of the street. The first pair were like "OOOOOOOOOH HEEEEEEEY!" and the second pair were like "OOOOOOH! FUH GEDDA BOUT IT!" They had guns and were doing crimes. I was going to take a picture of them being Mafia but a black Caddy rolled up and they all piled in like it was a big ole clown car. Oh well!

I met one of the younger brothers of Carlos Marcello, Joe I think when I was 6 or 7....I don't really know if my grandpa saying "say hello to Mr. Marcello" counts or anything. And I don't even know if he was made or not. My claim to fame

I asked my grandfather if he had any stories, he told me this story about Frank Costello.

The only story I can remember is one winter when we had a big snowstorm he in his chauffeured limo stopped to pick up stranded motorists who were trying to reach the train station for their daily commute to the city. When you drove by his home you could see his bodyguard detail out and around the house. He actually kept a pretty low profile in Port Washington and no had anything bad to say about him.

I wonder how much frank Costello was making.

Not LCN, but, when I was in Tokyo with my sister we saw this dude walking down the street in a Kimono and a (no joke) a sword hanging from his hip. He had two dudes in suits on either side of him, one was holding an umbrella over him as they walked - which struck me as odd since it wasn't raining.

Anyway, long story short, my sister asked the local we were with, pointing at the guy, what his deal is. Our 'guide' quickly pushed my sister's hand down and said

I had to explain what that meant to my sister later... But that is my (less than exciting) organized crime story.
