Vito Rizzutto Sighting - 02/17/13 03:28 AM
Was out this evening in a resto in Montreal (I won't name it, nor neighbourhood), but average place not too swanky and unpretentious.
He was there seated two tables away with family members. Siting by the window I might add! Well dressed casual. Seemed to enjoy his company and food. I was shocked, but not the first time I run into him. No one I think noticed, but get this........!!!!!! He obviously noticed my wife, son and I looking over a few times and well eyes caught each other. When we got up and left he smiled and I just said enjoy your evening.....to which he replied...Grazie.
What's next autographed copy of the sixth family?? Bizarre. Let us not forget what these gents do for a living. This is not the movies.

If Vito can eat in a public place like that, casual without much concern, I don't think there's any real danger to him at this point. I won't say it yet, but I'm sure he's close to winning whatever war is still going on up there.

That is exactly what we said. It's scary if you actually think about it.

Pretty brave/confident to be out eating without noticeable body guards around him...Maybe the uprising has been squashed and he's the one that has been eliminating the competition up there..
Very interesting, thanks for the post

Dam was he really sitting in front of the windows? That's crazy if he's visible from the street considering they like sniping people up there.vitos got balls o steel or must be safely back on top now

I wonder what he is really up to up there...we'll see pretty soon.
A fascinating study... Someone with insider knowledge should write a book on his re-establishing himself as the player in Montreal... what a case study!

What we should do is get together with a few writers (mafia inc writers) and draft a screenplay for s movie. Guaranteed to have enough juice in it. Imagine start with family in 1970s, whacking the Violi's, NYC murder, reign of power, biker wars, US extradition, plot against family, and finally comeback. Would make a better story than most, but would need a bit of that US/Hollywood BS they put in most movies to make it successful across the border. I mean if the Yanks are gullible and naive enough to fall for ARGO, a Rizzuto film would have a chance. If we rely on Canadian film industry to produce they would probably end up filming somewhere in the wilderness or turn it into some dull CBC production.

Could one of the more informed posters on these boards explain what the hell is going up there in curling country? I read a Nightline article on Rizzuto and his clan... they seem surprisingly legit.

Legit? That is funny. The Rizzuto's are OC to the core.

The movie rights for Mafia Inc. have already been bought by a Canadian movie company, so a screenplay may already be in the works.

He means that they're the real deal. That's what the phrase 'legit' stands for.

I know one shouldn't look up to a gangster, but somehow you have to respect Rizzuto's power and courage.

That's that little voice inside your head telling you that, most of us are suffering from it.
