Phillys North Jersey Crew: - 12/19/12 11:37 PM
With all that's going on in Phillidphia lately and with the family administration on trial like this who is running the Newark faction of the Family? It has proven itself to be results t and has survived despite many murders and rats.Scoops Licata is the official captain but is currently on trial with Ligambi and Co while his protégée Lou Fazzini just copped a plea, other than that you have the previous acting capo Vincent Centorino,Nicky Olivieri, and Johnny Phones Praino, I'm sure someone is running things I only wonder who ?

Personally, I wouldn't label it as the Newark faction, TonyBoy. Not much going on in Newark for Italians today. But as far as North Jersey in general, I'd have to say that Philly comes in third behind the Genovese and Lucchese North Jersey crews respectively. Maybe even fourth if you count the DeCavalcantes. Prisco's Genovese crew alone threw more weight in that area than the entire Philly family.

Why don't these crews see the bigger picture and work together more? Stability is a huge issue these days.

That's probably because there are so many guys in the Phoenix area who are in Witness Protection. No joke. There are enough rats hiding in that area to start a sixth family. In truth, a lot of them really aren't even hiding anymore. Ever see "My Blue Heaven"?
I love the scene when Todd is cutting the grass with a suit on. Classic.
