ralph dols murder

during the trials of gioeli and saracino i was reading this article about the ralph dols murder. i noticed someone commented on the article and he claimed that william cutollo (could be someone else dont remember very well) ordered the hit on dols because he was a dirty cop that was stealing from the mob. and since he was married to the ex wife of joel cacace he would be the one taking al the heat.

i doubt its true because he said that he overheard some wiseguys discussing a hit. then i looked him up turned out he used to be a dirty cop to. his name is michael gourdine. could someone tell me more about this guy and explain the ralph dols murder a little bit. because it seems stupid to kill a guy and take the heat because he married your ex.

On August 25th 1997 Officer Ralph Joseph Dols was not murdered because he married the ex-wife of a mobster. The man was killed for stealing steroids from some serious people. Detective Louis Epolitto was given the contract by a man named Wild Bill. Who actually did the shooting I don't know, But this case is garbage and not true.

second comment:
Wild Bill gave Louis Epolitto the contract July 4th 1997. At approximately 1630 hours in the confines of the 120th precinct.

I've been interviewed by all investigators involved. I never knew Wild Bills real name. The other name I heard I never identified he or it was named "gaspipe" My tax id # was 904062. I had already known Louis Epolitto he was retired but carried around an active I.D. card. Louis was connected to some people in DC 37 (An Umbrella Union) who was ran by this "Wild Bill" character who paid him for the murder.

fourth comment:
From the people who Interviewed me I was told that the federal prosecutor wanted to go solely on info given by the alleged shooter who cut a deal against his own friends. I did pick Wild Bill out of an array of pics and told them all I knew. I don't think it's a grand conspiracy I just think that Law enforcement on a whole is embarrassed by Louis Epolitto and don't want to even mention him. Wild Bill spoke Frankly and said that and I quote "Whatever happens Waverly will take the heat, This guy is married to his ex's wife".....Wild Bill also thought that it was funny to have cop kill another cop. He reffered to Louis as "Gaspipes" guy. Not sure what that meant, but that's what I heard. This conversation took place in the backyard of the treasurer of DC37's 4th of july bbq. I was a friend of his son.
