Detroit and Chicago Flash Hierarchy charts - 01/19/12 09:10 PM

The first chart is from 1963, the right side is a "corrected" version.

The second chart is from 2010 and the source can be attributed to Scott Burnstein and his resources in the CCC. So I can't argue for or against. Hope you enjoy enjoy.

Hey Atardi, good to see you here. Thanks for the chart hookups, they will be much appreciated on these forums.

Nothing for nothing, Atardi looks after the Mob Chart sub-forum on the Real Deal. He'll be a wealth of great information regarding the subject.

EDIT: Well, assuming he's the same guy. the username Atardi isn't exactly common in any case. grin

He has the real one. Everyone from Chicago gets a copy. He can't show anyone, though.

That chart (Chicago) represents the model the FBI and the CCC would put together if they were inclined. This came from them directly by way of author Scott Burnstein.

Another idea though, one that I think will become a more popular idea, is that Chicago since Capone has had several groups operating under one pillar, each with a 1 and 2, and the top two bosses of two crews would constitute an boss and under. Underneath them would be the run of the mill member but many appeared to be major crew leaders in their own right, so essentially every soldier or a majority of, was a defacto capo.

But don't take this chart as gospel, take it as info as to what the CCC has as their organizational chart.

The Chicago chart is off, Joe The Builder is not an active figure in the Outfit any longer.

Unfortunately, Joe is losing his battle with cancer in upstate New York. His crew (the Northside/Rush Street Crew) was deactivated a while back & merged into the Elmwood Park Crew.

Yo Bridge, I've heard the nickname 'Joey Doves' many times, 'O'Brien', a handful

Re: Detroit and Chicago Flash Hierarchy charts - 01/20/12 09:38 AM

'Doves" was the moniker the feds gave him because of that mourning doves case.

On the streets he was Joey O'Brien, Joey O., or Old Man O'Brien during the latter half of his reign. In his early days, he was a semi-professional boxer & used the name Joseph O'Brien. Irish boxers were taken more seriously than Italians during that time period. The name stuck forever.
