Re: patriarca family - 01/15/11 01:38 AM

if the feds can make a indictment against him i am sure they will. It has been my observation that lately te most active group investigating and making cases against these guys is the massachusetts state police. The have been very active the last 3 or 4 yrs

Re: patriarca family - 01/15/11 08:42 PM

after many years with the boss and the power coming from providence boston is now the power source with Peter limone running the family and Bobby deluca serving as underboss who is a huge power from providence. Anthony DiNunzio is rumored to be a powerful capo and is part of limones inner circle. These 3 guys are definitely the power in the new england mob.

do the patriarca's still have a crew in worcester? worcester is a big city located about a hours drive from boston and a little less from providence. I wud think there would b lucrative rackets here for the family. I know there was a crew run from the 1950's to mid 1980's by frank iaconi and was wondering if any1 knew the current status of this crew?

Re: patriarca family - 01/28/11 07:05 PM

I just read a article on provjo.com that said that the providence faction only has 12 active members remaining and they report to either bobby deluca or eddie lato. Which makes me believe that prov only has 1 capo left. The article also stated that boston has around 30 soldiers who run in 4 crews. Our charts here indicate boston has 3 capos but now it is safe to assume they have 4. Any ideas who the 4th boston capo might be ??

12 members left in Providence is about right, though I've seen as low as 9 and high as 15. Either way, you wouldn't think they need any more than 1 captain to run things, who in turn answers to underboss Bobby DeLuca. In Boston I've seen estimates range from 25-35 members. Not sure how many captains there. Those guys who are listed as captains are ones who have been such, whether in the past or currently. Plus a few guys left in Connecticut.

Anthony “The Saint” St. Laurent to admit guilt in 2006 murder-for-hire plot

10:45 AM EST on Thursday, January 20, 2011

By Tom Mooney

Journal Staff Writer

St. Laurent
“The rat” accusation stuck in the craw of the old mobster.

So much so, court records say, that Anthony “The Saint” St. Laurent sought the ultimate retaliation.

He would have Robert “Bobby” DeLuca, another old remnant of the Patriarca crime family, killed for publicly accusing him of being a government informant.

Now, St. Laurent, already imprisoned for running an extortion ring, plans to admit his guilt in the 2006 murder-for-hire plot, according to a plea agreement filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court.

Authorities first charged St. Laurent with the murder scheme in 2009. St. Laurent initially pleaded not guilty, and his defense lawyers later argued in court that St. Laurent’s earlier guilty plea to extortion was supposed to protect him from prosecution from the murder-solicitation charge.

But prosecutors denied there was any immunity agreement, and St. Laurent’s attempt to have the murder-for-hire charge dismissed failed.

The plea agreement details for the first time the “intense hatred” St. Laurent had for DeLuca, who since the mid-1990s has accused his fellow mobster of cooperating with the Rhode Island State Police and the FBI.

As detailed in the plea:

Since the spring of 2006, St. Laurent solicited several individuals whom he believed capable of killing DeLuca. St. Laurent told each that he had received permission from the then-head of the fractured New England mob, Luigi “Louie” Manocchio, for the hit.

One day in April 2006, St. Laurent met a man from Taunton in a Johnston parking lot. Together, they drove into downtown Providence where St. Laurent pointed out the Sidebar restaurant on Dorrance Street where DeLuca worked as a kitchen helper.

As consideration for the murder, St. Laurent offered the prospective hit man cash. The money, he said, would come from an Attleboro bookmaker who then paid “protection” money to DeLuca. With DeLuca dead, St. Laurent said he would begin collecting that protection money.

St. Laurent’s plan, however, became more complicated when federal authorities arrested him and charged him with running an extortion ring. Still, he hadn’t given up hope.

While imprisoned at the Federal Medical Center Devens in western Massachusetts, St. Laurent repeatedly solicited another inmate to find someone who would kill DeLuca.

The inmate expressed concerns about the ramifications of killing a made member of the mafia. St. Laurent tried to relieve those fears by saying he had permission from the boss.

Instead of offering cash to the killer, St. Laurent offered possible membership into La Cosa Nostra.

In follow-up conversations with the inmate, secretly recorded by the government, St. Laurent “assured the inmate that defendant was serious about procuring DeLuca’s murder and that he would not back out from the proposed plan.”

The killing was never carried out.

The plea agreement does not detail when St. Laurent will plead guilty to the murder-for-hire charge.

When he does, he’s also expected to plead guilty to a separate charge that between 1988 and 2009 he conspired with his wife and his son Anthony St. Laurent to extort “protection” payments from a group of bookmakers in Taunton.

This guy is a complete disaster. Plotting to kill the future underboss and having your wife pick up extortion payments real smart. I would have to think he is a marked man if he ever makes parole.

Re: patriarca family - 02/04/11 04:04 PM

New England mafia still a force

The arrest last week of New England mobster and former Patriarca crime family boss Luigi “Baby Shacks” Manocchio was a reminder that the mob is still alive and well in the area. Manocchio is accused of extortion for collecting protection money from Providence based strip clubs over the last two decades. Authorities claim that Manocchio was boss of the New England based Patriarca family from 1995 up until 2009. The Fed’s arrested Manocchio in the major mafia raid last week that also included mobsters from New York and New Jersey.

Even with the arrest of a major mob figure like Manocchio the New England mafia is still a very viable threat authorities claim. There is a new boss in New England which many sources in law enforcement identify as long time mobster Peter Limone. Limone spent 33 years behind bars for a murder conviction which was eventually thrown out and he was released and then pleaded no contest last year to running a organized crime gambling ring , extortion, and loan sharking but received a suspended sentence of two years and probation avoiding any jail time. Limone was a top captain in the Patriarca family in the 1980′s before his murder conviction serving under then mob boss Jerry Angiulo so he has a extensive career in the mafia.

Authorities believe that the power base of the New England mafia which was once Providence has now shifted to Boston with Limone taking over leadership. Limone in his latest case was ordered by the court to stay away from a a long list of reputed mobsters but was caught on camera in 2009 meeting with reputed leaders with in the New England mafia at a restaurant in East Boston. The mafia in New England has still had its own share of set backs even as the leadership has changed hands losing long time mobsters like Mark Rossetti and Carmen DiNunzio. Rosetti was seen as a major players in the Patriarca crime family as he was a top captain and a feared and respected guy on the streets. Rossetti was arrested last year along with a couple dozen other mobsters accused of loan sharking , extortion, and drug trafficking.

State Police Lt. and organized crime investigator Steve Johnson noted that there are still some very dangerous people out there and the potential for mob violence is always out there and more so when there is a regime change. When asked why they waited to go after Manocchio now instead of years ago when he was the active New England mafia boss Jeff Sallet the FBI organized crime supervisor in charge said that “justice delayed is not justice denied” and anyone committing crimes will be held accountable. Sallet also warns that the New England mafia is still a very viable group and they continue to corrupt the region and they are still a priority for further FBI investigations.

Yes, boston holds the power now. it's really the first time since patriarca ran the family that boston has the power with the exception of Frank Salemme in the 90's but that was short lived.

There's the irony. Capeci has 5 families and 700 mob guys in New York to work with. He could do videos easy. But he doesn't. Meanwhile, you're got Anastasia down in Philly and Fox Undercover up in Boston doing them despite having only 1 family and about 50 members each.

Re: patriarca family - 02/10/11 02:08 AM

****Springfield, Massachusetts has been a Genovese territory since the family's earliest days. The most influential Genovese leaders from Springfield were Salvatore "Big Nose Sam" Curfari, Francesco "Frankie Skyball" Scibelli, Adolfo "Big Al" Bruno, and Anthony Arillotta (turned informant 2009).[84] In Worcester, Massachusetts, the most influential capos were Frank Iaconi and Carlo Mastrototaro. ****

I found this on wiki under genovesse family which makes me believe that worcester mass is controlled by the genovesse family. Before this i always thought they didnt go any father east in mass than springfield and worcester was patriarca territory???

Does any1 have any info on this subject ?

There was really no line of demarcation. Generally speaking, the Genovese family was active in the western half of the state while the Patriarca family was active in the eastern half. Worcester is closer to the middle and I've read several accounts of people from both families being active there.

That's assuming they have even bothered to install an acting consigliere.

All we really know is -

Limone replacing Manocchio as boss, the top power going back to the larger Boston faction.

DeLuca replaces DiNunzio as underboss, overseeing the smaller Providence faction.

DiNunzio, currently in prison, reportedly becomes the consigliere. I've seen the same rumors about his brother. As well as an article which claimed Rosetti himself was the consigliere but I don't really buy that. He was listed as a captain in his indictment.

Like with any other family, it's really a case of just trying to put the puzzle pieces together with articles, indictments, as well as charts that people have been able to put together.

You've probably already seen it but this was a good piece done one the family a few years ago...

Oh man, you have to read the book on vincent teresea. It's great. Its old school, 1940's up to the 1980's. He wasn't a made man but he could have been. He claims he didn't want to be because he enjoyed the freedom of not being made.Despite his associate status he answered and worked directly with Henry Tameleo and Patriarca. He was a tremendous earner. You can find old copies of it on amazon for very cheap, couple bucks.

interseting article here :

After recently speaking to two separate sources it appears that Capo Bobby DeLuca, who campaigned very aggressively for the position of underboss, is declining the spot in Rhode Island. It appears there is too much heat in the state and he doesn’t want to deal with it. It looks like the position is going to fall to Eddie Lato, a tough old school standup wiseguy who is very low key, much like the now retired Baby Shacks Manocchio.

i got this off newenglandorganizedcrime.com

this family is said to be rebuilding and gaining strenth over the past 5 years. But its doing this on the shoulders of old school guys who have been released from the can. As we all know every1 gets older and for this family to survive its gonna need some younger members. Does any1 know of any younger members under the age of 50. I mean if the family only has the 3 members listed in our chart under age 50 thats a family in desperate need of some young blood if they wanna be around in 20 plus years

Re: patriarca family - 03/02/11 05:28 AM

Superseding indictment against Manocchio and others came down today.....

Alleged New England La Cosa Nostra Members and Associates Charged in Superseding Indictment with Racketeering and Other Crimes
Superseding Indictment Includes New Defendants and Charges Related to January 2011 Nationwide Takedown of Organized Crime Figures

WASHINGTON – Four alleged members and associates of the New England La Cosa Nostra (LCN), including an alleged former boss, were charged with crimes involving racketeering, extortion and related crimes in a superseding indictment unsealed today in Providence, R.I.

The charges and arrests were announced today by Assistant Attorney General Lanny A. Breuer of the Criminal Division; U.S. Attorney Peter F. Neronha for the District of Rhode Island; Richard DesLauriers, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Boston Field Office; Colonel Brendan P. Doherty, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police; Steven M. Pare, Providence Public Safety Commissioner; and William P. Offord, Special Agent in Charge of the Boston office of the Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigations (IRS-CI.)

The superseding indictment charges alleged longtime New England LCN boss Luigi Manocchio, 83, aka “Louie,” aka “Baby Shacks,” aka “the Professor,” and aka “the Old Man;” and associates Thomas Iafrate, 61; Richard Bonafiglia, 57; and Theodore Cardillo, 67, with racketeering conspiracy and extortion conspiracy. Manocchio and Iafrate, who were charged previously in an indictment unsealed on Jan. 20, 2011, also face extortion charges.

The department announced charges against 127 individuals, including 91 alleged leaders, members and associates – including Manocchio and Iafrate - of LCN families in four districts on Jan. 20, 2011, as part of a coordinated enforcement action against the LCN.

“Today’s arrests and charges are among a series of recent blows to organized crime across the country, including in Rhode Island,” said Assistant Attorney General Breuer. “This indictment comes on the heels of last month’s takedown of over 100 defendants associated with Armenian Power and other transnational organized crime groups, and of our historic enforcement action in January against nearly 100 La Cosa Nostra members and associates. If the mafia thought they could operate in the shadows and get away with it, they now know better. Our recent and sustained efforts leave no doubt that we are pursuing La Cosa Nostra and other violent organized crime groups aggressively.”

“As Attorney General Holder stated in New York earlier this year, battling organized crime remains a priority for the Department of Justice. Unchecked, it extends its tentacles into our citizens’ everyday lives. This office will continue to work closely with the investigative team and our colleagues in the department’s Criminal Division to deal with this threat,” said U.S. Neronha. “This indictment is the result of a multi-year investigation in which my office has worked closely with the Department of Justice’s Organized Crime and Racketeering Section in Washington. I also want to acknowledge the excellent work of investigators in this case, from the FBI, the Rhode Island State Police and the Providence Police Department. I have seen no better example of federal, state and local law enforcement cooperation.”

“The investigation that led to today’s indictment is an example of the cooperative efforts of the Providence Organized Crime Task Force,” said Special Agent in Charge DesLauriers of the FBI’s Boston Field Office. “The combined decades of investigative experience and knowledge of La Cosa Nostra of the Rhode Island State Police, Providence Police Department, IRS, FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office resulted in this extraordinary investigation. In Rhode Island, and throughout New England, organized crime will continue to be a top criminal priority of the FBI. Our joint efforts will continue to disrupt and dismantle national and transnational criminal syndicates. Through our task force and intelligence based model, we will use every capability and tool we have at our disposal to target the NELCN and other similar organized crime groups.”

The superseding indictment alleges that for more than two decades, the defendants and others extorted local adult bookstores and nightclubs for monthly “protection” payments by promoting a climate of fear through threats of force and violence, among other illegal activity.

Bonafiglia and Cardillo were arrested this morning and made initial appearances in U.S. District Court in Providence today. The court entered not guilty pleas on Bonafiglia and Cardillo’s behalf. Cardillo was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond and was ordered to have no contact with the business, employees or owners of any adult entertainment establishment. Bonafiglia was detained, pending a bail hearing on March 10, 2011. Manocchio was arrested in Miami on Jan. 19, 2011, and was removed to Rhode Island, where he continues to be detained pending a bail hearing on March 8, 2011. Iafrate was arrested in Providence on Jan. 20, 2011, and released on bail.

According to the indictment, the New England LCN family operates in Providence, among other places, and routinely engages in violence and threatens violence to promote a climate of fear, preserve its power, and enrich its members and associates through extortion. The New England LCN has a hierarchical structure, with an administration comprised of a boss, underboss and capos at the top overseeing crews of criminals, including members and associates who commit crimes and serve as insulation from criminal exposure for the leadership of the enterprise.

The superseding indictment alleges that Manocchio received monthly protection payments, paid in cash by the owners and operators of certain adult entertainment businesses in Providence, including the Satin Doll and the Cadillac Lounge. Iafrate served as the bookkeeper for these and other businesses. Iafrate was responsible for setting aside, collecting and delivering the protection payments to Manocchio on behalf of these businesses. According to the superseding indictment, the monthly payments ranged from $4,000 to $6,000 per month. Finally, Bonafiglia and Cardillo allegedly were hired as a bouncer and manager, respectively, at the Cadillac Lounge upon direction from Manocchio to the owner. The indictment alleges that Bonafiglia and Cardillo provided information to Manocchio about the ongoing business affairs of the lounge in order for Manocchio to maintain control over the club.

Each charge of racketeering conspiracy, extortion conspiracy and extortion carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The charges announced today are merely allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

The case is being prosecuted by Trial Attorney Scott Lawson of the Criminal Division’s Organized Crime and Racketeering Section, Trial Attorney Sam Nazzaro of the Criminal Division’s Gang Unit and by Assistant U.S. Attorney William Ferland for the District of Rhode Island. The case is being investigated by the FBI, IRS-CI, the Rhode Island State Police and the Providence Police Department.

Yeah, there's been some conflicting information. I tend to go with the latest information, which apparently lines up with the feds - that Limone is the boss (or at least acting boss) and Anthony DiNunzio is the underboss.

The thing is, both of them are based in Boston. One would think the Providence faction would have somebody in the administration. That may indeed be Bobby DeLuca, whatever his actual rank is.

Re: patriarca family - 03/07/11 11:20 PM

This article makes me believe that foxundercover is correct and the new lineup in new england is limone as boss and anthony dinunzio as underboss. This article states that law enforcement acknowleded these individuals as the the new administration and did not mention Deluca at all. It is weird for this family to have both the boss and underboss based in boston but then again the boston faction is twice the size of the providence faction at this time so maybe its true.

Feds ID New England Mafia Leaders

Confirm What Fox Undercover Reported Two Years Ago
Updated: Friday, 25 Feb 2011, 2:29 PM EST
Published : Thursday, 24 Feb 2011, 7:58 PM EST

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - For the first time ever, the federal government is naming who officials believe is running the New England Mafia, and as Fox Undercover earlier reported that leadership team is in Massachusetts.

The revelation came out in court documents as the former boss of the New England mob, Luigi "Baby Shanks" Manocchio pleaded not guilty to extortion and conspiracy charges in Rhode Island.

Federal prosecutors in Rhode Island filed paperwork to keep Manocchio locked up while he waits to go on trial.
Part of their argument is that Manocchio is still active in the New England mob.

In court documents, US Attorney Peter Neronha cited this example:

"In June, 2010, (Manocchio) was observed by law enforcement having an extended meeting with then acting (New England Mafia) boss Peter Limone and underboss Anthony DiNunzio at a Chinese restaurant in Boston."
"His access to high ranking (New England Mafia) figures demonstrates his continued power and respect within the organization..."

DiNunzio is the brother of reputed Mafia leader Carmen “The Cheeseman” DiNunzio, who is currently serving a federal sentence.

Limone pleaded no contest last July to running an organized crime gambling ring, but avoided going to jail.
Earlier this month, Massachusetts State Police organized crime investigator Lt. Steve Johnson told Fox Undercover Limone remains active in the Mafia.

“Do you think Mr. Limone belongs in prison?” asked Fox Undercover’s Mike Beaudet.
“Yah,” replied Lt. Johnson.

“Fair to say he was a significant player?” asked Beaudet.

“Fair to say he is a significant player,” said Johnson.

Limone's attorney did not return phone calls, but earlier this month she denied her client is the boss of the New England mob.

Manocchio remains locked up. He'll be back in court again next week when a judge will decide if he'll be released.

I just found about this family after watching The Sopranos' episode "The Weight", when Silvio Dante and Christopher go to visit the "Altwell Avenue Boys" in Providence I believe. it's such a creepy, weird, yet funny scene I just had to seek for the background on it and found out they were supposed to be based on the Patriarca Family which used to run the Altwell Avenue area right?

everyone who's watched it will remember what I'm talking about. if you did/do, is there any evidence that the real Patriarca Family is as fucked up as the loosely based on them, fictional Altwell Avenue Boys?

no the patriarca family has been a very organized. Patriarca SR f ran this family flawless for like 30 years before passing in 1984.

There was a wild time from 1988-89 till about 1995. There was some internal warfare between diffrent factions but after that luigi manocchio took over and did a good job of running a organized family for the last decade or so before his inditement in january

Local men indicted on organized crime charges
By J.J. Huggins jhuggins@eagletribune.com The Eagle Tribune Wed Mar 16, 2011, 05:32 PM EDT

BOSTON — A grand jury indicted four local men on larceny and other charges associated with gaming and organized crime today.

Those indicted include Joseph Giallanella, 62, of North Andover, Michael Petrillo, 56, of Peabody, Charles Davis, 44, of Salem, N.H., and Charles Toomajian, 53, of Malden. All of the defendants were indicted on other charges last October as part of an ongoing investigation, and they are free on bail, according to a press release from Essex County District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett.

Giallanella is charged with conspiracy and being an accessory after the fact of a felony (larceny); Petrillo is charged with conspiracy, receiving stolen property and being an accessory after the fact of a felony (larceny); Davis is charged with conspiracy, larceny and making false entries into corporate books, and Toomajian is charged with conspiracy, larceny, receiving stolen property and being an accessory after the fact of a felony (larceny).

First Assistant District Attorney John Dawley, who will prosecute the case, said Davis was an account manager for Randstad Professionals in Wakefield, which is a temp agency. In order to pay off his gaming and loan sharking debts, Davis allegedly embezzled nearly $1.9 million from the company. The money was then laundered through Toomajian, who is an attorney. Toomajian is also accused of stealing $659,525 from Randstad Professionals, which was diverted through Davis, the press release said.

Davis allegedly paid off loan sharking and gaming debts to Petrillo and Giallanella. In addition, as a way of making payments owed, both Davis and Toomajian allegedly paid money toward the mortgages of Giallanella. Petrillo was paid $308,000, the press release said.

Dawley said Randstad Professionals was caught off-guard by the alleged embezzlement, and the company has been fully cooperative with the investigation, the press release said.

Petrillo is expected to be arraigned on April 11 in Salem Superior Court. The other men will be arraigned the same day in Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn.

Manocchio lands big name Boston lawyer
Joseph Balliro to represent "Baby Shacks" in case
Updated: Monday, 09 May 2011, 6:20 PM EDT
Published : Monday, 09 May 2011, 12:46 PM EDT

Tim White
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) - The reputed former boss of the Patriarca crime family has landed a well-known Boston criminal defense attorney to represent him in the federal organized crime case.

Joseph Balliro and his daughter, Juliane, appeared with Luigi “Baby Shacks” Manocchio, at a hearing in federal court Monday. Manocchio’s current attorney, Mary June Ciresi told a judge she had to step down because of an ethical conflict she had with the case.

Ciresi declined to elaborate on the conflict when asked by a reporter, but in her motion she cited a rule that suggests she is representing someone who may have a connection to the case against Manocchio.

Balliro is a well-known lawyer in New England. He has represented such names as Boston’s reputed former underboss, the late Gennaro Angiulo.

Outside federal court in Providence, Joseph Balliro declined to say how he got involved in the Manocchio case. He told reporters he hasn’t had a chance to pour over the evidence against his client. Balliro, his daughter and local counsel Edward Romano met with Manocchio for about an hour after the hearing.

A judge has to sign off on the Balliro family’s representation of Manocchio, but federal prosecutors told Magistrate Judge David Martin they have no plans to file an objection.

In 2010, Juliane Balliro represented Boston’s Peter Limone – who the Massachusetts State Police have identified as the current boss of the Patriarca crime family – in an organized criminal gambling case. Limone spent 33 years in prison for the gangland slaying of Edward “Teddy” Deegan, but was set free after evidence proved he had been wrongfully convicted.

Limone won a landmark civil suit against the federal government four years ago for the three decades he spent behind bars.

Manocchio, 83, of Providence appeared in court in a tan prison jump suit. He is being housed at the Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls. He sniped at prosecutor William Ferland when he entered the courtroom, asking the veteran prosecutor if he was “happy” that he won the preliminary hearing to keep him locked up.

“We’re never happy about it,” Ferland replied.

Manocchio was arrested in January as part of a national crackdown into organized crime. He’s accused of shaking down Rhode Island strip clubs for protection money.

He has filed an appeal with a federal appeals court on the decision to keep him in prison pending trial. Balliro said he intends to represent Manocchio at that hearing. No date has been scheduled yet.

Limone was the last guy to be officially identified as the boss. Apparently retiring wasn't in his game plan. It didn't take him too long to get caught up in a big gambling bust a couple years ago.

Which sources would those be?

You'll see on the net various charts of the family. Most of them come, at least originally, from people that have compiled them over on the Real Deal forum. As far as simply listing made members go, the charts are usually as "up to date" as possible - unless someone dies.

However, listing captains can be tricky because sometimes there are ones that were captains at one time but not now. I'd be willing to bet the above names are a good example. Although all of those guys have been identified as captains at one time, I'd be surprised if the Providence faction needed 4 captains at this point. 4 captains is probably what the family needs total. 4 captains seems to be about what the New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Chicago families have now and they are similar in size to New England.

The boss underboss and consigliere position have been stated by the fbi in diffrent interviews. The providence capos I got from realdeal. As far as boston goes that's just what I have heard living in the area. Rumor has it spags and mark were the only 2 caps left but with mark inside for over a year now quintina got bumped up. Re: patriarca family - 06/29/11 01:21 AM

CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) - A reputed mob associate, who spent nearly two decade behind bars for a double homicide, was arrested Monday for allegedly harassing his estranged wife.

Anthony Parrillo, 60, of Cranston, was charged with violating a restraining order after he allegedly screamed at his wife from the front lawn then waited in the driveway according to an arrest report obtained by Target 12. The report states on June 2nd a Family Court judge issued a restraining order forbidding Parrillo to approach his wife.

“[Parillo’s wife] stated that she feared for her life,” the police report states. “She feels that with his anger […] and with his criminal past, she feels her life could be in jeopardy.”

In 1986, Parrillo pleaded guilty for the 1982 murder of two men after an apparent drug deal gone bad. Parrillo was released to home confinement in 1994.

Parrillo was initially held without bail while police determined if he was in violation of his probation. A Department of Corrections spokesperson said his probation expired in 2009. Parrillo was released late Wednesday on $50,000 surety.

Parrillo’s attorney John Harwood declined to comment.

In 1997, Parrillo was profiled in a Target 12 Investigation revealing he was working as a Teamster on the Michael Corrente film “Outside Providence.” Undercover video showed Parrillo acting as a bodyguard and driver to film star Alec Baldwin.

At the time, law enforcement sources identified Parrillo as a close associate to then-mob boss Luigi “Baby Shacks” Manocchio.
