mafia trades

i was watching a dvd i have on the mafia and in it they were talking about he mafia not dealing with just guns, gambling and narcotics. this says that now thyre also trading in weapons grade uranium and plutonium and other nuclear weapons to terrorists and just about anyone with deep enough pockets. i was wondering if anyone else heard about this.

Perhaps it was the Russian Mafia? They'd have access to the richest source of weapons-grade plutonium--in their own country, from military bases that are insecure, under-guarded and leaky. I'm sure the US Mafia would trade in fissionable materials if they had the chance--they'd sell their grandmothers' kidneys if they had the chance--but it's unlikely they'd have access to plutonium or uranium.

it was a few mafias, some in the mainland italy, some in germany, russia, china. theyd steal them from different nuclear places and sell them. that also inclued warheads and whole nuclear missles from the former USSR, as well as selling red murcury to make the nukes stronger. if you get the time to, pick up the dvd "Mafia warlords".

Lately I watched a program on a Dutch broadcaster about this subject. A journalist tried to get semtex and other(military) materials from the Jugoslavian Mafia. Very interesting....former KLA members (K... Liberation Army) who dealt with the Mafia etc...
