What's the difference between a Scotto Capo, and a Capo Bastone? Are they one in the same?

I think you might mean
Sotto
Capo.
Sotto Capo and Capo Bastone both refer to an underboss.

Thanks SC. I'm involved in a Mafia game, and the rank that was used was actually Scotto Capo. Hence my curiosity. Thanks for the help.
