Northern Italian Mafiosi

We all know that most (alleged) Mobsters are originally from southern Italy (Sicily, Naples, Calabria etc.) but are there any from the north?? Also, were there any wiseguys from Sardinia?

officially, there is no such thg as a mafia north of Rome... The M-thg is a pure Sicilian product, yet there is organized crime in the north of the boot as well of course ! It started in the poorest parts where the local ppl needed protection from the invaders and the government which was in the north and considered the south as its vassal.

Never heard abt a Sardinian mafia. The island is really small. One funny thg I recently noticed is that a Sardinian guy owns the biggest internet provider in Europe (Tiscali) and buys the smaller ones one by one thus getting even bigger. It's legal business but it's the first time the island gets the spotlight as far as I know.

Wasnt there a big thing in the early 1990's about corruption in Milan???

Yes, Milan is a very corrupted city, actually it's nicknamed the European crime hub.

I just said that the mafia was a Sicilian invention, it belongs in the Mezzogiorno : Cosa Nostra in Sicily, N'Drangheta in Calabria, Camorra in Naples + Campania, Sacra Corona Unita in the Puglia. There is no other name and location for Italian organized crime. Now I'm talking abt the origins of the different mobs only. The Italian mafia is present in 42 countries all over the world according to criminologists.

Sardinia I think is very quiet and agricultural oriented. It wouldn't suprise me to learn men of honour reside there though it is never really heard of. But Sardinians have been known to be quite good at kidnappings and very ruthless when it comes down to it. Sorry this is as far as I know without bringing too many points into speculation.

The real Mafia is in the north.
I was once in Messina Sicily and a friend told me that the mafia in Sicily are just Thugs. They buy and sold Drugs whit the African (most marocian). Then they export it to northen Europe (Germany,England...) also they import from the TAliban. So we see that the Mafia are just a bunch of dirty rats.
The Mafia in north. They are the real Gangstas. They even control the goverment. Berlusconi is one the biggest of them all.
So it nothing got to do whit "Family, God" or what ever we know from the Movies. This is not a joke they kill innocent people. They don't care.
My friend also told me that a 6 year old child saw how they buy dorgs. They kill that 6 year old child...
