If Henry Hill ratted on Paulie and Jimmy in court to save his own neck, and Paulie was a capo in the Luchesse family; why hasn't the Luchesses whacked him yet?

If you mean why hasn't the Luchese's whacked Paulie yet: Paulie never saw freedom after being imprisoned because of Hill's testimony.

Or if they havn't whacked Hill yet: Hill went into the witness protection program after testifying. It wouldn't be the easiest job to get a hit on him. He isn't in it now and this is 20 or so years on. Most of his enemies are now dead. Is it worth the successors trouble to kill him? Obviously no because he still roams the earth, although he does avoid NY.

As Turi said Hill is no longer in the witness protection programme 20 yrs on. What happens when they drop out? I assume they keep the 'secret identity' they were issued with although they drop out of the programme. I wonder if there is any going back in if they experience problems?

Paulie died in Jail in 1987, Jimmy died in jail in 1996. I think Tony Ducks is Dead, at least still in Prison!

The Next Luchese wouldn't bother whacking Henry becasue Henry Knew nothing o fhim. Henry drifted away from Paulie and the Lucheses in about 1978 and worked Exclusively with Jimmy and his crew.

Say the next guy took ove rin 1985, then Henry couldn't prove anything 7 years ago, so he's no good except fo rPaulie and Jimmy, now that htey're dead Henry is free to Live as CamHillUs Don.

Henry Hill still occasionally appears on the Howard Stern Radio show, and most of the time he has to bleeped for his cursing.

Henry calls in drunk quite often and rambles on and on about wacky stuff. Promoting his website and stuffs. Henry was also on Howard's WWOR TV show awhile back.

Henry got pinched again in 1987 for conspiracy to supply narcotics. Apart from that he was still
clean at the time of the 1990 movie.

It's this incident and his relentless thirst for publicity, post the book and movie that got him thrown out of the witness protection programme.

To answer Family Honour's point - I don't think the Feds would have him back.

Hill has experienced a lot of drug and alcohol
problems over the past 20 years. I believe he claims to be currently clean and says he helps former addicts under a different name.
Kind of ironic given that he got where he is getting people hooked on this shit.

As old and wise members of the board have said
already, I think he's a pretty unpleasant guy in practice. I used to follow his website a little
(not in last 6 months) and it always seemed disorganised and as if nothing changed month to month.

Whether you want to moralise about him being a rat or not - putting that aside he's not the
Ray Liotta version.

We didn't get to see the inner scumbag.

Incidentally, I still think Ray Liotta did a superb job - we had to have some empathy with the guy. It's a shame Ray probably will never equal that great performance.
