It would star Al Pacino. He would play the grandson of Mario Puzo. This grandson of Puzo grew up loving his grandfathers book The Godfather. Then this author decides to write a book called The Godfather Returns. It turns out to be such an insult to Mario Puzo's Godfather, that Puzo's grandson is so insulted because of how horrible this new book is, that he takes a contract out on this author and James Caan is the hitman!

I'd like to do a full documentary on the MOB in the style of KEN BURNS -- making it as large as necessary to cover everything from the begining to present day. You could pack it full of photos, FBI files, interviews, clips from movies, etc etc -- a massive exspose with class! You could even get Pacino, Deniro, FFC, etc to do the voiceovers. Think BIG. REAL BIG!

Now all I need is several million dollars to produce it and a real good lawyer.

Mine would feature Leonardo Dicaprio, Al Pacino, and Robert DeNiro. Dicaprio plays a mob boss, and he's the son of Al Pacino...a former cop who strongly disapproves of Dicaprio's way of life. Robert DeNiro would play Dicaprio's business partner, and there would be a feud between him and Pacino.

That's kind of vague, and I don't have the details fully thought out yet, but I guess it's a start.

I think that would work, Pacino will overhear a conversation Leo and Robert are having about some deal or something thats about to go down.Pacino will demand his son gets out of w/e is about to get himself into.De Niro puts a hit on Pacino without telling Leo.Since this guy used to be a cop, he will fight back for his life while finding out all this info on how Rob has been screwing Leo financialy.

From what the others say its not a good read.
Im 150 pages in to it,not the best book,but not awful,quite hard to follow as he goes on abit.

I got a story..

The leading character's name is Sonny, and it's in New York.

Sonny at the age of 12 worked in a club owned by the mafia.(like Calogero in A Bronx Tale and Henry Hill in GoodFellas).

He becomes a bouncer in that club, and helps out a wiseguy in a fight.

He gets in his crew (not a made-guy)
He's a good earner. He gets his own club with strippers(girls of course).

Gino,a connected-guy of another crew touched(don't know the right word but i mean he touch her sexual, not rape but a little les worse)a dancegirl of Sonny's club, Sarah. Sonny liked Sarah very much and he fights Gino. He killed him.

Sonny gets away with it (mafiosi had a sit-down about Sonny).
But friends of the Gino wanted revanche, and they get it. (Those friends were Joe and Tommy)

Sonny and his friend, Tony, were on their way to a card game. Several hours into the game things turned bad. Sonny get shot in his head. When he came to a little later he was lying in a pool of blood. His friend Tony lay lifeless next to him.

Sonny sought permission from those in the higher echelons of his family to take out Joe and Tommy. Each time he asked the answer was always the same...no! Sonny is pissed, he knowed Tony whole his live..

Sonny did kill Joe and Tommy and no the mob is after him. Now I have 2 options: either he get killed or he turns a rat..

It needs to be a bit of GoodFellas(/Gotti) movie..

yeah its true. my story was actually based at genovese-soldier d'urso. He got shot in the head and survived...
