Bizarre news.....apparently the filmmaker of HEAT and COLLATERAL and INSIDER has decided to write/direct/produce a film-adaptation of Mann's 80's TV series that he oversaw as producer......MIAMI VICE.

Really, I don't get what Mann sees in all this. However, since most of his movies have been good, I give him the benefit of the doubt.

True he did.

But really, a Miami Vice movie sounds lame to me. Besides, I don't get this whole 80's retro thing.
