IFC Casino + Carlito's Way in June + TTDIDWYAD + SK Reviews

Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead was on IFC and so I decided to watch it. It was somewhat disappointing, but basically what I expected it to be. Christopher Walken like always delivered a powerhouse performance in a minor role, and stole the show from Andy Garcia. Garcia is actually a decent actor but still not amazing.

This film reminds me of Suicide Kings . Other than Christopher Walken's performance there's nothing there. But I enjoyed how he manipulated those kids.

I'm quite a fan of Suicide Kings, it was fairly clever how the story unfolded and I love Denis Leary so my judgement is biased.

I also liked Things to do in Denver. It's hardly amazing but enough for me to purchase it on DVD.

Suicide Kings was a good comedy that could have been a better. I enjoyed it more than Things to Do..., which was also good. Treat Williams upstaged everybody in that as Critical Bill.
