Rate These Movies For Me

if Goodfellas, Godfather Trilogy, and Casino are all 10's (1 to 10 rating), then what would u say "Analyze This" and "The Untouchables" are, cus im thinking about seein those 2.

I'd give.. The Untouchables a 8 and Anaylize this a 5... I didn't really like that movie.. but those are my opinions...

The Untouchables... A nine... Analyze This... A six... Uhm, Yeah.

Analyze This I'd give it a 7 The Untouchables I'd give that a 8.5 or a 9 that movie is good.

havent seen Analyse This. i rate The Untouchables an 8 but it would have been better if they included the St. Valentines Day massacre. . .

what would u all rate "Once Upon A Time In America" then?

I'd give it a healthy 8 3/4...nearly a 9. There were some parts they could've either shortened or cut altogether. Otherwise, it was good.

Yeah I'd have t agree with GF on this one, except I'd give The Untouchables a 9, possibly a 10. And yeah it would've been better if they did include St. Valentines Day Massacre.

I regret to say that I haven't seen The Untouchables. I've heard good things. As for Analyze This, rather enjoyable. I have to rank it alongside other great films to find my proper rating. The Godfather I and II get a 10, Godfather III a 7.5, Shawshank Redemption (a movie I love, yet can't seem to enjoy it afterwards every time I watch it) gets an...8, so Analyze This would get a 6.5 I think. Yes. Analyze This gets 6.5.

I defnitely agree with you my dear friend. The life of Capone wasn't that detailed (and it made him really look evil). I would rate it as a decent 7. Mang if Kevin Costner wasn't in it I would have given it a higher rating, lol.

Analyze This is a good comedy that has a stellar cast. For a comedy I would rate this as an 8 (just laughed at loud with the dream of...can't giveway the details though). I definitely recommend Analyze This to all of you (a comdey related to the Mafia). Billy Crystal was really funny here.

I agree about Kevin Costner's limitations.

But, Sean Connery was very good. In that photograph that the papers take(after the guys start busting liquor operations) of the 4 Untouchables with Costner, Garcia, Connery and the accountant dude (his name escapes me) Connery is the one who stands out as the leader. It's easy to forget Kevin was the leader.

Still worth at least an 8 though.

Once Upon a Time in America is very good. Make sure you see the 229 minute version and not the TV or chronological version. They were messed up and the director denounced them. Try and do some background reading on Once Upon a Time in America and you'll understand more about what the director was trying to achieve. Things like Deborah's lack of ageing and Noodles not knowing about Bailey years earlier start to make more sense.

I don't know what's available in the States, but look around old/arthouse type bookstores. Definitely worth a 9

I would rate it a 9 or 10 I thought it was a really good movie. Probaly James Woods best performance although Salvadore was one of his best too.
