Carlitos Way

This is one of my most favourite pacino films. He's always at his best playing the bad guy.
He does it SO well

Yeah i got it on DVD its a great film, pacino can portray so many different characters, puerto rican, cuban, sicilian and the list goes on

That is one of my all time favorite movies.

Carlito's Way is the comeback movie of Brian De Palma and Al Pacino after Scarface. one of my favourites, a must see. . .

It was okay, I guess. Pacino was top notch (as usual), but Penn's performance kinda' threw a wet blanket over it for me. But I suppose I'm biased. I've never been much of a Sean Penn fan anyway.

I must admit I agree with you on the Sean Penn part. I just don't like the look of the guy! I also didn't like his brother in Reservoir Dogs.

However I loved Carlito's Way. I thought it was a fantastic perfromance by Pacino and a brilliant ending.

Speaking of sean penn what did you think of his nasty ass hair in carlitos way?

his hair looks funny Don P., almost the same as Marta's in Scarface. . .

Most of Sean Penn's movies are up there for me.

He should have let Benny Blanko from the bronx have it in the alleyway, how could he have overlooked something like that....I'm going for a cry now.....but please.....no one mention Carlito 2 with Gails son

i thought its a daughter, dancing with Gail in the last part of the movie.

As the movie ends Gail hasn't even had the baby
I was only surmising if it was a boy!

i thought she's pregnant and the kid dancing with her in the end is their daughter. . .
or Carlito Brigante Jr.

As he's dying he looks at the 'escape to paradise' poster on the wall I think they (the people in the poster) all start dancing Oggie, is that it?

yes that's it Family Honour! its the young kid she carried while dancing, is who i'm thinking as their child . . .

Why do you say that Carlito Brigante was a "bad guy?" I thought his character was pretty admirable. Sure he did some bad things but it was just because..."Just when he thought he was out, they pulled him back in."

Well, he was a convicted drug dealer doing 30 yrs. He got out on a technicality and then decided to go on the straight and narrow. I agree he was a 'wanna be good guy' when he got out. OK I'll compromise, he was an EX bad guy
