A Safe Place : The True Story of a Father,a Son,a Murder

Did anyone read this book by Lorenzo Carcaterra (author of Sleepers and Gangster)??? Is it worth a try?

I've read it and it's definately worth a try, one of the best biographies I've ever read.
There are a couple of contradictions between A Safe Place and Sleepers, but the book is excellent. I found that after I read it I understood Sleepers a lot more, especially Shakes' home life.
