Quentin Tarantino - 09/03/01 06:43 PM

Which Quentin Tarantino film do you regard as his best? I think that Reservoir Dogs is his finest hour. It has everything, from the flashbacks of the robbery to the torture (and murder) of the cop. The pre-credit sequence has never been bettered, and the music is excellent.
What are your opinions of his films?

I personally preferred pulp fiction to reservoir dogs but i havent seen either in quite a while so i can't comment an awful lot.

Is Jackie Brown any good? I've heard positive and negative reviews, and I was wondering if it's worth seeing.

Reservoir Dogs takes the cake just for the torture sequence with "Stuck in the Middle with You."
Next is definately Pulp Fiction..
Jackie Brown's ok but not as good.

It would have to be Pulp Fiction because it is a more complete film experience than Reservoir Dogs. Jackie Brown, on the other hand does not compare favourably with either of the afore mentioned modern-day classics.

I don't like his work and Trash would fit really nicely

Well no one mentioned From Dusk Till Dawn. I'm gutted.

That is a great film. Although I can't really think of a favourite Tarantino film I know this deserves some credibilty.

From Dusk To Dawn was not directed by Tarantino.

I pick Pulp Fiction because of its unique style and language. Great cast and acting (yes even Quentin). Its dark, funny and dramatic .

If we can count films in which Tarantino was involved other than as a director, I'd choose "Killing Zoe," for which he was executive producer. Now, there's a top-flight actioner with great performances.
