Maltese 8 part series set in 1970's Sicily, about a detective who returns home and gets caught up in a murder case then finds himself waging a full on war against the Sicilian Mafia. Kim Rossi Sterwart is the man. 2 of the creatives behind Gomorrah are also behind this. Its been described as "exceptional Italian tv drama, violent,elegant,nostalgic piece that combines the pathos of the Godfather and the stylish beauty of mad men. Ch4 in the uk have the rights and are showing it 2018.

For anyone in the uk, it starts this Sunday ch4 22.00pm then box set follows. They are pushing the trailers for it. Looks really good. Set in 1976 Sicily. The U.K. title is Maltese the Mafia hunter. Anything with Kim Rossi Stewart in is good. He is Italy's Daniel day Lewis. Francesco Scianni is also in it. He always in really good dramas/films.
