What did you all think about the portrayal of the Cosa Nostra connection to that situation? Ruby, Giancana, Trafficante, Roselli?

And was Pesce's character in the movie "The Good Shepherd" supposed to be Trafficante or Marcello or one of those guys?

I think Pesci's character in the "The Good Sheperd" movie is based on Giancana....

Yeah it was giancana. And idk I thought the mob was a little bit more involved. They made it seem like they weren't involved at all. I think the mafia helped set it up and at the very least knew what was going down. I love that movie. It's very intriguing and after watching it I really believe it was a conspiracy. Especially after he talked to "X" in Washington.

Fantastic movie, it's the only film where i can stomach Costner.

I think Costner is a pretty underrated actor.

I love gangster movies and I just thought JFK and The Good Shepherd made their cosa nostra characters look goofy and weak. And maybe they were. But if they were really pulling off conspiracies like these, they had to be pretty solid.
