Gangster Squad is out now in the UK..looks all a bit too Hollywood slick though-anyone seen it?

Iceman could be considered a mob movie, it will be released this year.

We have a movie about Gotti, dont know if its going to be made.

And there is also a project which will make Making Jack Falcone book into a movie.

Tbh i think he'll make it but i'm looking forward to The Wolf Of Wall Street and the Sinatra bio because Scorcese has pretty much covered mob movies.

The Iceman is scheduled for a May 3 2013 release. Wonder why they've been holding it back? I know the story is far from fact but i'm still looking forward to seeing it.

My 2 favourite Scorcese films aren't any of his 4 'mob' Movies so i'd rather him ignoring those types of films since they've clearly been covered.

And whatever happened to "Frankie Machine"? Haven't heard anything on it in a long time. DeNiro was supposed to be in it and i think Michael Mann was supposed to direct it.

It's been done a few times too many imo especially with those actors. I think it'd be better looking for young I-A actors instead of using the usual suspects.

Why isn't there a trailer for the iceman yet? And do you guys think it will be good? Is it a major movie or no. By major I mean not like 10th and wolf or something like that.

The June 7th release is for the UK and the Netherlands. Here in the US the release date is May 3 2012

The Gotti movie is never going to get made. The one with al Pacino, Chaz's P, John travolta and joe Pesci .

The actor I liked the best playing Gotti was Armand Asante for one reason. He bopped when he walked. All the ganster back then bopped and wore their shark skinned suits. He makes all his co stars better as well. I met him right after he made I the jury. He is a great guy he had a long affair with tge blonde that appeared as Vickie lamotta in raging bull. That is why the chemistry between them in mambo kings were so good.

I don't know but that's what i mean they should try to discover some young Italian-American actors . My main problem with the movie is Scorcese has already made 4 mob films 3 of them feature Deniro and 2 feature Pesci.

John travolta and his real wife was also supposed to be in that Gotti movies. It is mainly about Gotti son forget who plays in it. My youngest son used to hang out with Gotti junior. I tried to put a stop to it, but it is hard for kids to listen to their fathers. But he has seen me in action before so he knows I have had an interesting life.

Frankly I told him he was not smart enough to servive dealing with those guys. But then he found Brazilian jujitsu. Then that did it. The students and teachers are all better class of people then he was hanging out before. Now years later he is better off and he never gets in trouble any more.

. I don't know what it is, but I find Christopher Walken so funny when it's like he's not even trying. This, Suicide Kings and that movie with Michael Rappaport had me in tears. He plays a gangster in all of them.
