The Last Mafia Marriage

This was a great movie about the life of Rosalie Profaci- Bonanno who was the wife of Bonanno consigliere Salvatore "Bill" Bonanno. He was also the son of famous mob boss Joseph Bonanno. The film came out in 1993. It's a must see movie. Rosalie was the niece of New York mob boss Joseph Profaci.

Rosalie Bonanno was truly a long-suffering wife. She was portrayed poignantly by Brenda Vaccaro in the TV film, "Honor Thy Father," which starred Joseph Bologna as her husband, Bill, and Raf Vallone as Joe B. Richard Castellano played Joe's brother in law. Highly recommended.

Rosalie lived in West San Jose from the early 70's until the early 90's. After Bill was released from doing time behind his home repair contract scheme they both split to Tucson to stay close to family. I believe Rosalie is still alive. But I think Bill died in 2008 and his younger brother Joe died three years before.

Bill Bonanno was a true GANGSTER.....
