I'll Sleep When I'm Dead

I recently purchased this crime movie and was, honestly, disappointed. I was wondering if it was just me, and I need to revisit, as it was critically acclaimed, or are the critics just wrong on this one???

Its a new one to me who's in it?

I haven't seen it, but the director also directed, earlier in his career, Get Carter, with Michael Caine as a nasty London thug who travels up north to avenge the death of his brother.
