The Great Santadio War - 04/16/03 05:34 AM

*Spoilers for The Last Don*

They called it a great war, was it really that great? I mean, it all ended on one night with no Clericuzio deaths minus that stupid idiot son.

Hahaha you totally just belittled the whole thing. That's funny. I thought they took a page out of the Odyssey with the whole trojan horse type plan.

wot u fail to understand is that the santadio war went on for thirty years and every1 thpought it was on the nite of the wedding but it wasnt it went on with dante killing pippi and then finished with cross killing dante. that is why its called the great Santadio war

I must agree with DonColletti, it wasn't that great. It did have a bit of the trojan horse in it, but nothing much more.

i personally thought it was a very interesting way to take out all the santadio brothers and the old don. i wouldnt consider it much or a war but i really loved how it was orchestrated. whoever said there was no clericuzio casulties was sumwhat right lol none except for rose marie's sanity!

I think you misunderstood. The night of the wedding in which Don Santadio and the rest were killed, was the conclusion of their war with the Santadios. If you look back, you'll see the book elaborates on the conflict (or war) with the Santadio's prior to the night of the wedding.
