Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It's appreciated. At my age though birthdays are just a time for one more grey hair, one more noticed wrinkle and ten extra pounds.

My daughter did surprise me with a gorgeous Phantom of the opera musical figurine. It's Christine sitting at her vanity with her young assistant and it plays the song they were singing. I have the tune in my head, but I for the life of me can't remember the song. The memory is the first to go..hahaha. My daughter has the dvd so maybe I'll put it on to remember.

Happy B-Day, Bethie, sounds like your daughter gave you a very nice gift. I was really into The Phantom as a kid and still kinda sorta am. Didn't see the movie, but I did see the play (as a kid) at the old Pantages Theatre in Toronto. Good show!
