Best Crooner - Besides Sinatra

Just wanted to know what people's opinions were. I'm not going to include Frank just because he'd probably blow everyone else away.

Feel free to post anyone I forgot.

Perry Como could've been included on the list, but I'll vote for Bing Crosby.

It either has to be Dean or Bing for me. I grew up with Dean though so I'll have to give my vote to Dino.

Tony Bennet, hands down. He's still a great performer.

I'm surprised no one has voted for Sammy D. I wasn't very exposed to his music until my friend got the 4-disc Sammy Davis Jr Best Of collection called "Yes I Can!"

It really opened my eyes to how talented he was. He had to be consistently equal if not better than Sinatra and Dean because he was black.

If you have any interest I definitely recommend picking that up. It will shed a new light on his work.

Personally, I don't consider Sammy a 'crooner'. He was a 'belter'.

SC is right...Perry Como should've been included on the list. And I also voted for Bing, the ORIGINAL crooner.

I put Dean Martin, although if my parents were voting, they'd put Jerry Vale. I always heard his music as a kid.

I like them all though, and yea Crosby was a crooner as well, but I'll still go with Dino.
