Yeah, this was all over the news a couple of weeks ago here. It is quite intriguing. I had a strong feeling he would turn out to be a foreigner to these shores tho. I hope his story gets sorted soon, and all ends well

Sounds kind of like that 1900 movie. A weirdo who is a brilliant virtuoso.

The Legend of 1900-- I love that movie! Apparently, this guy has been compared to David Helfgott, too... another weird piano virtuoso (whom I've seen in concert, very amazing!). Actually, I don't know if there are any normal pianists out there. Just look at our friend JustMe...

But I doubt this guy is "weird," exactly. I bet he's been through something horrible.

I think it's a fascinating story. I wonder what the heck happened to him. They say he hasn't spoken a word. I'm curious as well to hear the story unfold.

BTW, when I saw the headline I too thought it was about Billy Joel.
