I remember reading that part of GFIII was based, in part, on the Vatican banking scandal. Did anyone see this on CNN.com?

Note that the name of the girlfriend referenced in the article: Manuela Kleinszig, which is similar to Keinzig from GFIII. Hmmm....

Suddenly makes me want to rethink the value of GF3. I still have reservations on whether that should have ever been made, but at least this article adds some credibility to the flick.

I found that to be very interesting when I read about it this afternoon. It made me want to watch Godfather III again.
