Goodfellas is excellent.

The IMDB list is pretty old, but with a couple more thousand votes, LOTR may take #1, which is the most ridiculous thing ever. LOTR shouldn't even be as high as it is. Hell, a lot of movies shouldn't be on the list. SPIDERMAN 2?!

I didn't go thru the list a second time, but just off the top of my head, Pacino has 4 movies on the list (GF, GFII, Donny Brasco, DDA).

I thought ROTK was going to pass Godfather, but luckily its starting to slide. It WAS at #2. I hated the last two LOTR movies, and I hate seeing them in any top ten.

IMDb...ugh! So many bad memories of that Godfather board. The administrators have absolutely no control on their message boards. You got trolls all over the damn place. If you wanna know the difference between a quality message board, and a message board that doesn't even know what quality means, check out the Godfather IMDb message board. You'll be...rather amazed.

They aint so good

The movies on the list obviously deserve to be there. Over 100, 000 people would not have voted for them otherwise.

What administrators?
IMDb is one of the best film sites out their, but their message boards are the worst, and so are the people that vote for the list. I'm not saying "The Godfather" is undeserving, but many of the films on that list are.

So? You wanna know why Spiderman 2 is on there? Because all the bandwagon cult fans had to jump on there and go "TEN TEN TEN." MANY people go on there just to give 1's and 10's to what they hate and like. It's a VERY flawed list.

Hell, their whole system is flawed. La Dolce Vita has a 8 and it doesn't get placed above the 7.9's.

I am. It's place surprises me, actually; a great film, but it seems it is more popular than cinematically significant.
