I did not see this movie, but know two people who did and found it totally confusing. They asked me if I saw it, hoping I could explain it cause they just didn't get it. I guess they're not alone.

It isn't so much confusing as it is absurd. There really is NO way to assess and analyze the "plot" to a point of understanding. It simply cannot be understood in chronolgical or thematic terms. Nothing works out.

I see the film as a depiction of Hollywood. Period.

The imagery is great, though.

But I still want my two hours back.

Realistically and in some efficient way, what would you do with these two hours? Saw a log in half, scream around on your 650? Remember: "To have it all, you have to risk it all."

This movie went for 2 hours and 27 minutes. I am guessing I know which 27 minutes you don't want back!
