Anyone else hear what happened in Miami?

The story was reported here in New York. From what I heard, two homeless guys got wasted and one of them attacked the other. He started eating the victim's face and had to be shot by police before it all ended.

To top it off, the two guys were naked.

OMG that's unbelievable!! How horrible. I don't get it? WTF? I don't understand how one could be driven to actually eat someone's face. And naked too? I really don't get that. What a sicko!! Of course that's such an understatement isn't it?

Let's face it; it's a horrible thing. But, in the face of what's happening today, it's to be expected. It's important to face facts. I don't think it's appropriate to do an about-face and ignore it. We should take the incident at face value.

Good news. Of course, extradition may be a pain in the ass because Germany - in their typical western Europe, secular, liberal, bullshit way - may not want to send him back to Canada if he could be put to death.

We do not have the death penalty in Canada.

You're right. I should have known. Canada basically is a western Europe country. Better to just have Canadian tax payers pay for the guy's shelter, food, health care, counseling, etc. for the next 50 years.

So apparently, the guy was a gay porn actor, whose real name is Clinton Newman, who took video of himself torturing, killing, and eating, his Chinese boyfriend, and then chopped up the body, sent pieces of it to schools and government offices, then took off for Paris, where he partied more or less nonstop, and then took a bus to Berlin, where he was arrested in an internet cafe while he was reading news stories about himself.

And none of this is made up.

The world is a truly sick, twisted, and bizarre place.

That's the gist of it. The media has also been throwing around the theory that he idolized Paul Bernardo who is one of our more sadistic criminals in our country's history. The extradition process from Germany might take a while, however, and that is irregardless of the fact that Canada does not have the death penalty.
