Looking Good

Looking Good - 01/30/12 02:42 AM

No matter what life drops in you little lap . I have always felt that you should look good. Yes I have abused my body by smoking , drinking, to much. It is what it is. But I also like looking good in what I am wearing , how I smell, nails etc. hair.

I don't go down to the gym as much as I should. But do some low weights at home. Have a Manicure every 2 weeks, and a Pedicure. I love it. And I feel better. Hate to admit it but , go fake and bake every 3 days.

I like nice clothing, good cars, nice place's to eat . Nice women , kind , caring, and a good time.

You look good and folks notice it . They watch you finger nails and how ya walk , show confidence. ! cool

Yes , I say it the way it is and my potty mouth sometimes gets away. But None of you know me how I really am.

I am not perfect , wink but let me ask you ? Are you . If you said yes, GFY ! lol Your a ledgend in your own little mind , dangerous playground !

Be Safe !

Good post Frosty. Nothing wrong with looking good and wanting to maintain it. Works for me. Of course I've been known to be somewhat full of myself, but hey.

I think nearly everyone likes to look good. I'm guessing women worry a little more about it though than men (no offense). smile

My mom is 89 years old and my sister, who is a hair stylist(Beautician) does her hair every single week. Mom doesn't really go anywhere but heaven forbid her hair isn't done. lol

Blake, sorry about that GTL , I like it. Smooth ride . No beer cans or bottles in it either LMAO !

Mickey, I had a beard for years when I rode my Harley. I don't mind them at all. Long as they are kept clean. I like the new look with a few days a couple days growth. And trimmed. I liked Dan Haggerty, meet him once. He liked his weed to LOL.

I don't necessarily think of it as "unkempt/unclean" if a guy has a beard or mustache or if hair is a little long. It all depends on how you take care of yourself.

Re: Looking Good - 02/21/12 11:14 PM

Back in November, 2010 my older son, who was then a high school senior, and I decided that the month would be No-Shave November. By mid-November his beard was gone (he got a girlfriend), but I kept mine. My beard had a little more gray in the chin than I was happy with, but I kept it until some time in Spring.

I let the hair go a little longer than usual and with my old Irish cap, which I often don, I damn near perfected the hobo look. I actually felt more relaxed, but in April I impetuously got rid of the beard and got a vert short haircut, and I looked years younger, butmore stressed.

;)My friend when , you have youngens it seems to do that. I had alot of facial hair over the years, had a beard down to my belly, and when riding my Harley it split , LMAO, it was cool and people would wave and about wreck ! Sprayed it white one year and put on a Santa Suit about froze my little candycane and chestnuts off. But it sure as the Hell was worth it ! Had a bag of candy with me and so gave it out to the drunks, kids, and ate alot myself.

Now I like to keep the clean shaven look ! But thanks it brought up fond memory's ! lol
