zero...but chicago wasnt voted the rudiest city in america now was it lol
Off topic...when I went to NYC for the first time in 03, I didn't know what to expect, because for years the saying was, "there could be a dead body on the street and NYers would walk right over it."
I can't speak for previous years, and it is a busy, hustle/bustle city, but I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't find it rude at all. One of the tour buses I took, the driver mentioned how 911 changed NY (understandably) and how it was a wake-up call and NYers are ready, willing to help each other. I didn't talk to strangers too much, but when I did ask for directions and such, everyone, from people in hotels, to people walking down the street were nice to me. One thing I learned tho, if you are walking down Times Square with a mad rush of people, you DON'T stop and fix your shoe or you'll get trampled by the crowd. Move to the side.
Also, NY is NOT CA, pedestrians can NOT just dash across the street, you'll get your ass run over.
Sorry, back to Chicago!! It's "my kind of town."
