Well summer is FINALLY almost here, and it's time for luau parties and spring cookouts. So I figured we could build a fire on or near the beach, set up a limbo stick, and have a cook-out and dance-off while watching the ladies hula hoop around the evening fire. And of course, it's a luau, so everone gets LAYED! And everyone on the bb needs to come and help bring in that warm spring-time sunshine..

Now, Don Cardi already said he was going to buy us a new server, so all he has to bring is himself, but what sort of food, *drinks*, or, *other* party accessories like the Hula Hoop will you be bringing?

It's a Luau, not a frat party. We're drinking Hawaiian Punch (with everclear!).

But I'm glad you guys are getting into the spirit of this thing. I'm getting the feeling this 'party' may turn into the Revolutions of 1848.

Back in the day when you could smoke indoors, they first started limiting smoking to the bar. I could be found at the bar having a smoke, and often wondered if people thought I had a drinking problem.

NO, this is the time we should all be going to Home Depot, gathering the best tubing and lighting supplies for our light-up Hoola Hoops:

Just sprinkle a little vodka on the hoop and light it on fire, it's lit up and we don't even have to leave the beach.

Ice, you talked me into it. Get the sun screen and beach chair ready, because I just tossed the tie and wing tips into the cold rain and I'm a-lookin for my Speedos.

OK, I am going to momentarily hijack this thread to share a "boombox" story. A guy that my husband worked with walked to work each day. He took a shortcut along some train tracks. Well, he was walking to along the tracks with his boombox on his shoulder, which made it impossible for him to hear the train coming up behind him. The train came right by and ripped his arm right off.

On that note, back to the beach party!!!!

What happened to the radio?

Only YOU would think to ask that question! The guy came back to work with an artificial arm a month or so after the accident.

so...does he carry the radio on the other arm now?
