Woodstock Books?

Woodstock Books? - 11/09/08 06:26 PM

I recently rented the "Woodstock" DVD from Netflix (and since then, purchased it). A friend of mine enjoyed it very much, and we're both very interested in the music festival. Does anyone here know of any books I could get on the subject? We're looking for something less encyclopedic and more journalistic (like from someone who was there).

Any help would be appreciated!

WOODSTOCK NATION, by Abbie Hoffman is one of the definitive works on the subject.

If you can get past his anti-establishment lunacy and left-wing rhetoric, you should love it.
