TV commercials might be the most obvious window into any culture or time.

Most Annoying: the drug commercials that give you a few dozen side affects or warnings and then push YOU to ask your doctor if (Cymbalta) is right for you.

Tasteless: Any Erectile Dysfunction Syndrome drug commerical during sporting events. I've heard many father's complain about watching a sport event with their young sons and they have to endure the uncomfortable moment.

As for "those" commercials, MC, what about the one for Cialis that has the people in bath tubs in the middle of a field?? Yes, you see bath tubs in the middle of a field quite often. And even if you DID, how is that related to having sex, being in a field in separate bath tubs? And my daughter, who starts college in September, is quite frankly grossed out by the one of the couple interrupted by their daughter coming home from college for a surprise visit.

The Geico Cavemen were funny the first thousand times I saw them. Now I'm just grateful for evolution.

Actually, my husband and I were at the airport on the moving sidewalk and he started humming the Geico song. That one commercial in the airport, with the caveman in his tennis gear, still cracks me up.

The truck commerical that plays John Mellencamp's "This is Our Country" about 50 times on Sundays during football season.

Late night commercials that tell you that some useless gadget or self help program is worth more than $500 but they will sell it to you for not $500, not $300 but the incredibly low price of three monthly payments of $39.99 and if you act now you'll also get for free.......

Any Anheuser-Busch commercials that continue to try and stuff their bullshit patriotism down my throat even though it's now owned by a foreign company.

There's a commercial for hair dye for men that plays on a 60s theme, and suggests that all of you former hippies, who are turning gray, need to dye your hair to maintain the spirit of the 60s. The graying male models look like a bunch of aristocrats in their polo shirts, and the guy playing guitar with the young girl hugging him looks like he had never seen a guitar in his life before the commercial.

The model tells us in his pompous accent, Don't trust anyone in their 90s," and then laughs like a horse's ass.

Corona is absolute shit. You might as well be drinking piss, with a lime in it.

All the NFL Truck and Bud commercials have driven me away from pro football. The games take four hours to play. It is really awful.

Do you really enjoy drinking Artois or Corona? Artois is tolerable in a pinch, but every time I'm handed a Corona at a party I find the nearest houseplant by which I can deposit the contents of the bottle and simply preserve the lime wedge as evidence that I did, in fact, receive the Corona.

I genuinely like Stella, especially on draught.

I don't drink Corona because it's too weak (I'm a 5% plus man). Like I said, good when you're on a multiple-day binge and hungover from the previous night.

For some reason, whenever I'm handed a corona with lime, I honestly wonder whether that foamy liquid inside is piss or not...and the taste doesn't help to answer my question.

Corona is only good if you're out sweating in the sun.

And their commercials are kind of annoying too.
