Not only my birthday today but also the first day of my 2 week break so it's a doubly awesome day!

Mick,i was in the Lonsdale before and after my meal. Just around the corner from Osbourne Road

I was in Spy Bar; they had this 5% Estonian beer for £1.50 a bottle, called Viru. Splendid. We drank them out of stock.

I know the bar you speak of. The lonsdale is the boozer next to West Jesmond metro station,next to the old picture house?

We walked past the place, woulda been 8.15pm or so. A few people outside, but I didn't give much notice.

I would have been in the restaurant by then,but that is just on the other side of the metro tracks,hence the reason for going to the Lonsdale!
