I saw Huston's The Maltese Falcon on the big screen last week. Fantastic film, and Bogart in that sort of role reminds me so much of SC. It's amazing how connected to avatars people can become.

SC, what can I say that already hasn't been said? You know that you are a valued member of these boards, and more importantly a valued friend to many of the members on these boards. It seems like only yesterday when I began chatting through e-mails with some guy from an internet board, finding that this guy and myself had many of the same interests, many past things as well as present things in common, and basically the same kind of upbringing in the same kind of envirement.

I went on to become really good friends with that person, and here I am, 13,000 posts and 7 or 8 years later, feeling as if I've known that guy for all of my life.

It's been a pleasure to read all of your witty, knowledgable and wonderful posts on these boards for all of these years, and it's been an honor to have met, spent time with, and become friends with someone as wonderful and sincere as you.
