Little girl at Woltz's mansion - 02/18/04 05:49 AM
In the novel it says that hagen is waiting for his car to come and take him to the airport after the dinner with woltz, and he sees the little girl and her mother leaving the mansion, the little girl is walkin like she is injured or something. Then it states that that was why Hagen was not taken by plane to woltz's mansion, and it gave time for Woltz to work on the little girl before dinner. Does this mean what I think it means?

yes, woltz did have his way with that poor little girl... later on in the book when hagan returns home to tell vito all that happened, vito's reaction ("infamita" was what he said i think)towards what woltz did pretty much confirmed it for us...

While Woltz is certainly a scumbag...we're all forgetting about the girl's mother. Who let it all go on so she could live the Hollywood good life through her precious little girl!!

Tom Hagen immediatly disliked the mother and who can believe she'll alllow her daughter to be used like that.
tom hagen was smart, he knew what was transpiring...
'And Johnny wanted to live in this world? Good luck to him, and good luck to Woltz'

Apple I agree - the mother is just as guilty as Woltz.
