Tonys Little Friend

I know this is a stupid question. But what sort of gun is Tonys little friend, Im sure Ive seen a similar one In the film Hard Boiled.

For a second there I thought you were asking about his other little friend. I don't have the answer but welcome to the boards, it has however, been discussed quite often here before so if you look out for it you may find it.

his "little" friend is a M16 with a M203 grenade launcher attached to it.

correctamundo. the army use it. some people believe its a SOPMOD M4 carbine buts its nots cos the M4 carbine is smaller and it's single or automatic when the m16 fires burst or single and tiny is clearly firing burst rounds.

And also M203 is a weapon its self not an attachment.

is he really firing burst rounds? man i always thought the gun was an older M16, i think the older ones r full auto?

no he is firing burst rounds and what do you mean by older M16? they have always been burst

i heard somewhere that the really early models like used in Vietnam were full auto, i guess it was wrong

I've seen news clips from Vietnam, and sure enough, some of the soldiers were firing full auto with an M-16.

It's an M16A1, full auto.

Actually, in the game Battlefield: Vietnam for PC, you can use a gun very similar to Tony's. Its a CAR-15 with a grenade launcher attached.
