Streaming Devices

Streaming Devices - 05/30/20 12:22 AM

I have recently purchased a Streaming Device.
Its a “GoSurf”.

There are many different types and brands of Streaming devices.

Its works really good but not perfectly.
It only requires internet service.
Once online when connected to my WiFi it basically gets anything and everything on all networks and broadcasts that are uploaded.

It has a learning curve that is tricky but once you know how to use it fully and keep it updated, its is nothing short of amazing to someone like me who gets ripped off by my cable provider every month.

I would cut the cord tomorrow and only pay for a internet connection but the Wife is addicted to our full service and you know what they say “ Happy Wife, Happy Life”.

Its great to have all Movies / TV options for us since we do indulge regularly.

If anyone has any questions I can certainly offer feedback on this device but have never had any experience with any other streaming device that connects to your existing system as this one does.

I have been using the Roku streaming devices for about 8 years now. I'm used to them, so it's not very likely I would consider changing to another device. I hope your GoSurf works out for you.

Yes T, its as easy as that,

Yes U.... the Go Pro is a perfect fit for what we do on it.

I would love to learn about other devices.
Heard of the Roku. Does it update itself or have monthly charges?

DP, the Roku I have doesn't have monthly charges. You just pay for the box itself and that's it (I also have an Amazon Fire TV and it's the same). The only thing you'll pay for are the subscriptions you want (like HBO, Showtime, etc.).

Nice... that sounds good.

The go stream gets all those with no subscribing.
However... it sometimes is rock solid and sometimes prob with certain streams randomly.

Eventually , all come in for viewing,

I am not a stream guru but do like the GoSurf and never used any other, love hearing how others work.
