Baked Goods Boxes

Have you noticed this?

On Friends, Frasier, Still Standing and every other TV program I can think of (whether original episodes or reruns), baked goods always come in pink boxes. Why is that?

I can't find the answer on the web. Anyone have an idea?

And just about anyone with a shopping bag has celery sticking out of the top.

I haven't noticed the boxes though.

You know when I was working, every time someone brought in donuts or baked goods they WERE in a plain pink box. Maybe it's a pastry thing.

I don't remember ever buying baked goods in anything except a white box.

There is one specialty bakery in my area that has a distinctive box that is striped in two shades of pink. Every other bakery I know uses the plain white box.

Almost always plain white. Personally, I like what comes in those little blue boxes.

Just saw another pink one on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Which episode?

I wonder if it's the same box. I know that a lot of props are kept in studios that have multiple sets on site.

See, I told you they are usually pink. At least here they are. I would guess that the color suits pastries. Ya think?

Don't know. But it was in the kitchen on the countertop that is near the stove.
