AP Source says Couric Leaving CBS

Good riddance. I can't stand her. I met her a few times in Manhattan while I was still working in the funeral industry. The media usually shows up at "high profile" funerals in one form or another. She's as nasty in real life as she is perky on television. She was a flop as an anchor, anyway. And the Today Show recovered just fine. Matt Lauer sure survived without her, didn't he?

And nobody will miss her.

~I know he's long in the tooth, but how about Schieffer take over again? He was good in plugging up that slot after the Dan Rather-Dubya reporting fiasco , and maybe one of the last of the old guard from back when news was about news and not morons giving off their worthless ideological pornographic-drabble as "news" on cable primetime.

I'd be all for it. He's an old pro. And that's exactly why he won't get it.

Katie Couric strikes me as a mean spirited bitch. I could be wrong, but she gives off a terrible vibe.

Now that is an industry I'd certainly consider investing in. Death is a shockingly safe bet.
