2014 Yahoo! Fantasy Football (Draft)

Just Lou: Waaaa!! I have to draft before this weekend because I have to go on my 8th vacation of the year. You know I always go on vacation during most leagues' draft periods!

JG: Sheesh! Okay... it's up to me (the Defending Champion) once again.

Okay, guys, we have 10 confirmed teams. Still waiting on Aint First Your Last. If he joins, then DMC (I.F.Y.M.) will be an emergency entry to make it an even number of teams.

The draft, unfortunately, is coming up quick: This Friday, Aug 22, at 9PM ET. I want to set the Draft Order ASAP (Wed Night / Thursday Afternoon), so I hope AFYL replies soon either way.

I haven't even begun to prepare, and it's a busy week for me, but it's only fair to give others a chance.

Don't exaggerate. I only go on 6 vacations a year.

Because of the relatively short notice, it looks like we're going with 10 teams this year...

Below is this year's draft order:


To set the order, I went through the following steps:

1 - I went to http://www.random.org/ -- DB's favorite random order generator website

2 - Using "Integer Generator" to pick a number between 1 and 20, I got:


3 - I went to "List Randomizer" and input our list of owners (list from top to bottom per what I saw under "Managers" in Yahoo.)

4 - This list of owners was randomized 18 times to get to a final list which is our draft order:



So there you have your draft order.

As a reminder, the draft is tomorrow, Fri Aug 22 9:00pm EDT

Wasn't a great trade for me because Luck won't outscore Rivers by more points than Antonio Brown will score. But I get my QB on my team.

Does anyone object to adding a single injured reserved roster slot?

My team may not be going anywhere, but I'm enjoying the beating I'm putting on Longneck this week.

Brady/Gronk helped a little ...but it is always nice to see Longneck flounder

Just a little. .....I almost turned that trade down too, and only did it because I was 1-6 and figured it couldn't hurt.

And I came here to congratulate you on the heist of the century and you're telling me that trade was proposed to you? Holy shit.

It's worked out for me, but it wasn't such a heist when I was offered it. Gronk has just gone nuts since I made the trade. I haven't gotten anything from Megatron or Jeffery yet, and Oliver is probably heading to waivers next week. I gave up Bell (#4 fantasy RB this season) and Jimmy Graham.

Glad my team took a crap these week, losing to the last place team! I tell ya, it's all about Luck this year!

Romo was iffy so I used Dalton in the Thursday game. I should've stuck with Romo (30) even if he hadn't played -- since Dalton put up a whopping -5!
