Yogi or De Niro, which station's games are available in England - Espn, Abc, Nbc, Cbs?
Do you get to see any of the West Coast or South West schools? It's interesting b/c if I'm watching on Saturdays I'll occasionally flip over and watch your English teams play your football. I wonder if we're watching the very same games on both sides.
At any rate, it all makes for a great day. Glad you guys are playing.

I never watch the games just predict on form...I know nothing about the teams, players and sport,i just play for fun which is why i never win..

I didn't realize that first year Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez was without a quarterback to run his patented shotgun-spread option offense this season, it's no surprise they got beat again in the home opener. This could be a tough year for the Big Blue, but one would think they'll be one of the best teams in the country in coming years (Sorry, Buckeyes).

I got Ohio State over USC, we'll see. I also have Purdue knocking off Oregon and Notre Dame beating Michigan.
I don't follow college football that closely, I semi-root for the Boilermakers and Notre Dame. I like LSU too. They are Tigers, I like Tigers. Addai. They win, and Les Miles seems like a good coach. Don't know who their QB is this year, they seem to go pretty fast. Russell then Flynn, and now...

I put all of my confidence points on VIRGINIA to beat DUKE!
That just shows you out of touch I am with the game overall these days, I'm still thinking of the Virginia from 4 or 5 years ago when they had one of the best recruiting classes in the country, and the Duke team that was going 0-10 every year.
Ahhhh.. what an idiot. Cuz the 'Dukies' are 21 points better than the 'Hooves' these days.

After an all-around great week, a pathetic week. But as LN points out below, it seems everyone had a bad week.

Edit: Rankings weren't legit. As I suspected, the avg scores weren't calculated yet. But the weekly AVG was a lowly 13, so we did pretty well I suppose...

For me it has nothing to do with how many leagues I am in. I started grad school a few months ago and I am getting married this week. I pretty much only have time to watch 1 game a week and of course that is the Buckeyes. Coupled with the fact that every week there are about 5 toss up games in the Pick 'Em.
I do think the SEC should just start there own league. It could be like AAA for the NFL.

I hear ya, DA. I've recently started a new career and have very little time. I actually made my picks this weekend about 15 minutes prior to kick off in the midst of my parents shouting at me over the phone.
Worked out pretty well, though!

Not really. Outside of Bama and Florida the league appears to be a bit down relative to prior yrs. The Big 12
appears to be the conference of choice with now even OK St. in the top 10.

In any event, despite the notice, it appears you can still make your picks, so give it a shot...

That's strange. The site states that the game is over, but there is a slate of ten games for week 13. Nevertheless, I tried selecting winners, but nothing registers. This is at least better than what I was getting before.

I just noticed that you can join the
ESPN Fantasy Editorial Group in this game as well. I just joined it and am tied at #13 (JL would be tied at #12) out of 1035 people. The 6 "experts" are ranked between #108 (Lipscomb) and #596 (poor ol' Cockcroft, who missed a few weeks).

I got my picks in.
I'll be freezing my tail off in Beaver Stadium Saturday as my boys and I will be watching Penn State play Mich. St. There is some talk and speculation in State College that this will be Paterno's last home game, but I doubt it. I think he'll come back.
The school president has said that the job is Joe's as long as he wants to coach, and I think Paterno earned the right to decide when it's time.
My wife's uncle and aunt have been avid Penn State fans since Paterno's been there and built a home outside of State College. We tailgate with them as they have a spot right next to the stadium. We'll leave Saturday morning early to get to their home by 9 AM and spend the night.
While my boys and I aren't big Penn State fans, we love this trip every year. When my sons were younger, they would meet the players after the game outside the stadium. I've always been amazed at how polite, patient and engaging these young men were.
Also, on Sundays after homegames the players pick up all the trash inside the stadium; a lesson to keep them humble.

It looks like this whole game will come down to 1 single game today (BC/Wake), if the Tenn/Vanderbilt game stays the same. If BC wins, JG should win. If Wake wins, I'll win.

Hey JG, did you catch the Rutgers game? Army had 2 yards passing, and only attempted 4 passes the entire game.
Nice turnaround for Rutgers. It looks like they'll playing in a Bowl game.
