As of right now, they have no cause of death. Eddie used to have a lot of problems with drinking and drugs, but apparantly he kicked those habits before he joined the WWE.
The news of his death brought me to tears. God bless you Eddie Guerrero. Rest in peace.

I saw the Press Conference, they didn't say much, just that he was dead, blah blah.

From the AP:
MINNEAPOLIS - A World Wrestling Entertainment star was found dead in his hotel room Sunday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to appear that evening in a WWE show.
Eduardo Gory Guerrero, 38, didn’t respond to a wake-up call Sunday morning, authorities said. His nephew, fellow WWE wrestler Chavo Guerrero, and hotel security at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center forced their way into the room and found him.
There were no apparent signs of foul play, police said. An autopsy was planned to determine how Guerrero died.
His nephew said Guerrero was open about past drug and alcohol abuse but had been sober for four years. Guerrero was married and had three children.
“This is a huge loss,” said WWE chairman Vince McMahon. “Eddie was a wonderful, fun-loving human being. Eddie was a consummate performer.”
Guerrero was a featured star on the UPN series “WWE Smackdown!” and son of Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero. Last year, he became the second wrestler of Hispanic heritage to be WWE champion, though he lost the title four months later.
UPN also aired a special last year on his life, “Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story.” The program chronicled Guerrero’s childhood and his struggle with drug addiction that almost cost him his job, family and life.
Monday Night Raw AND Smackdown are in memory of Eddie, I won't post spoilers but I did read them and its a great show and tribute.

What is even more sad is that he was expected to win the title match that he was included in, since Batista's recent injury would have forced him to drop the title of "World Heavyweight champion".
Of course this hits me more personal than other deaths is a good WCW house show match he had years back with Dean Malenko at Johnson City back in 1997/8. Really good technical fighting from both wrestlers, along with each man's remembered persona gimmicks, from of course Guerrero's "Cheat to Win" to Malenko's ice-cold stoic manner.
Very nice start to Raw.
When Owen Hart died the Undertaker took a lot of heat because he didn't "break character" and talk about him. It seems like this time everyone is breaking character.

Tonight's RAW is even more emotional than the RAW after Owen Hart was killed.

You really just saw the human side of Wrestlers. The Big Show crying? JBL? It's amazing how great of a man Eddie was.

I'll tell you this much. I have never cried so much over the death of somebody I didn't know personally. I was fortunate to have seen Eddie Guerrero perform live on quite a few occasions, and whether it was a live televised event, or a house show, he performed as if it were gonna be his last performance. I was at the SmackDown house show in Ocean City a couple months ago, and one of the main events was Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio. They put on a clinic. Eddie had such a ring presence, and whether he was playing the face or the heel, it didn't matter. The fans loved him either way. He was an amazing performer, and he will be missed.
R.I.P. Eddie Guerrero.

Eddy was at his best when he was playing the "heel". The only person that I ever saw do it better was Ric Flair in his prime.
