Sopranos Game?

Have anyone tried this game yet, and if, is it worth buying?
I have a lot of expatations (sorry spelling) for it, so could anyone do a rewiev??

The graphics are disappointing...

- You may have heard that the game is a free world, well you can't go anywhere you want, you never drive any sort of vehicles...
- You can't use guns anytime you want!
- There are only TWO GUNS in the whole game, a handgun and a shotgun (you will find the shotgun on the last level I think?)
- The game ends when you become a made man

That's the general consensus. The Sopranos game is horrible.

The Godfather game, on the other hand, seems quite good, and I can't wait for the Wii version.

It's ashame that HBO and the whole world invested their money and several years on the Sopranos and they make a game that sounds so horrible. The Sopranos is the best series I've ever seen. I don't know what made HBO want to go down the path the way they did. I have yet to play the game, but from watching the trailers, looking at the screenshots, and reading reviews(including the ones in here), I think they should make a new game for The Sopranos. I don't know what HBO's budget was for Road to Respect, but it sounds like it was a very low budget. You would think that as much as HBO put into the Sopranos and as much as we pay for HBO programming, the seasons on DVD/VHS, and their merchandise, they should invest a decent amount of money towards a video game. They could do wonders with a video game as they did for the show. I'd love to be able to make a character on their in the same aspect as the Godfather. But in the game you can put him in a jogging suit, suit, guinea tee, or just a beater(tanktop). Make a name for him by building up your ranks. Have a radio in the car like Grand Theft Auto. It'd be pretty nice to drive around Jersey and New York listening to Steely Dan's "Dirty Work", lol. Or to hang out in the back room, or hang out in front of Satriale's. How about going to Dr.Melfi to talk a little, maybe you can save your game data there? I dunno, just small things I'd want to see in a game about the best show ever made..

I think HBO probably could care less whether or not the game sucked, and would rather have a bad game that people gobble up for the name, it makes them more money, even if only for a short time before people realize it sucks.
