Silvio's rank in the pilot episode

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, i was wondering what rank Silvio was in the pilot episode ?

Looks like he was just an associate.

Great find. Silvio was a soldier, then rised to the position of Consigliere after Tony was firmly in control of the family.

That's cool i thought he might have been an associate so it was good to clear that up.

Another thing i noticed, not that it really matters but both Silvio and Pussy had different wife's in the first series.

Just to let you know the Soprano's are now on Amazon Prime. I guess I can dump my box set now.

ya I've been watching it all day, they also got Boardwalk Empire and a few other HBO shows on there now.
