You think Junior should of been whacked?

I'm just wondering, and my answer is yes of course. It would of been more like his real-life counterpart Joey Sodano, and plus he tried to kill Tony! Joey Sodano, like Junior, feels that he doesn't get the respect he deserves for all his years in the Mafia, and he resents the young up-and-comers, like Christopher Moltisanti, who think of respect as an Aretha Franklin song.

Joey Sodano was killed supposedly by Merlino supporters in the Stanfa-Merlino war.

When he was starting to get demented there was a serious risk he was going to be a liability.

The same thing happened with Willie Moretti and he got whacked for it.

From a mob perspective, he should have been whacked. Especially what he did to Tony.

They kept toying with that throughout the series, but I felt the last seen with Tony and Junior made it worth keeping uncle Junior around, it was really a sad moment.

I'm no expert but I would think if this was a real situation, once he gave an order to kill Tony, he would have been terminated. But then again, when you look at other situations (e.g., Casso who killed his attempted executioner, but not the guy behind the hit), it's not that far fetched he wasn't after his power was taken out from under him.

AJ's funniest damned line ever is when Chris tells him nobody will be able to get to Junior, and he responds with Rocco Lampone's line from Godfather 2, "Difficult, not impossible".
