Former Sopranos star Drea de Matteo has given birth to a baby girl, Alabama Gypsy Rose.

The actress, 35, and musician boyfriend Shooter Jennings, 28, welcomed their daughter on Wednesday night, a rep for the actress tells E! Online's Marc Malkin.

Alabama is the first child for the couple, who have been dating for six years.

De Matteo, who played Adriana La Cerva on the HBO drama and also starred in the NBC sitcom Joey, announced the pregnancy in May.

In June, even before she knew the gender, De Matteo had a feeling she was having a girl. "I use 'she,' because I'm getting so fat, I think it's a girl!" she said at the time.

Jennings is the son of the late country legend Waylon Jennings

Thats cool,pity about the name though..

Really, what's in a name? We all get use to whatever a name is right? But, Shooter????? To each his own I guess. It wouldn't be on the top of my list of baby names, but it's probably quite original.

Shooter is Waylon Jenning's son, so that probably explains a lot.

If the baby was a boy, they would've named him "Silvio". That was the last person she saw before dying. (Sorry, olivant).

Can you imagine "if" the character Adriana had a baby and named it Shooter? Tony Soprano would tell Carm, "WTF kind of name is that?"

That's for sure Beth!!! I am assuming Gypsy Rose is after the stripper no? If so, why?

I once had a neighbor who named her daughter Montana, after Joe Montana. Like I say, to each his own.

I never even knew he was Drea De Matteos other half..
